Chasing Success

Like the snow, clinging,

a blanket on the trees.

Gorgeous today,

tired of it tomorrow.

Fleeting, chasing the buzz.

Got my fix-what's next?

Who decides, anyway?

Snow covered today,

Blooming tomorrow,

Green next,

Followed by shedding.

Maybe I'll just watch and work and

be happy to see another season.
